Facts you should know about dental insurance:
Fact #1. Dental insurance is a contract between you and your provider. We are not a party to that contract.
Fact #2. Dental insurance is not meant to cover all fees. It is simply an aid to financing your child’s dental treatment.
Fact #3. Many insurance carriers claim an 80% to 100% reimbursement rate. We have found that most plans generally cover 40% to 50% of fees.
Fact#4. Usual and customary fees, UCR, a term used by insurance carriers is an arbitrary amount which the insurance company chooses to pay for dental fees. It is not based on average fees for our area but is simply an allowable amount determined by the insurance company. Our fees are within the range of Pediatric Dental fees in the Central Florida.
Fact #5. We will make every effort to ensure that you receive the maximum benefits allowable.
